Roman Reigns may have plenty of people fooled as WWE future blurs the lines with The Bloodline

WWE is beginning to blur the Bloodlines.

This chapter was supposed to be Roman Reigns’ repentant babyface run, but the Tribal Chief is showing some cracks in that idea after winning the World Heavyweight championship. Reigns seems more and more motivated with growing and protecting his power again, manipulating those closest to him at every turn as he makes perfect use of his newest asset in Jacob Fatu.

Fatu is the wild horse Reigns was able to rein in by beating Fatu at Clash in Italy, earning his loyalty and devotion. In the weeks after, we have seen that Fatu is not like Jimmy or Jey Uso, who, despite turning on Reigns once, are much more amiable about falling in line. They are also not quite as effective at completing Reigns’ wishes. L.A. Knight running his mouth about their family had yet to be handled before Monday.

So what did Reigns do? He managed Fatu and the Usos perfectly to create an environment that further allows him to both gain and protect his power. He put the Usos — who thought they would be ordering Fatu around — on their heels by elevating Fatu with the Ula Fala he placed on him, rewarding him for not being a “yes man.” The Usos later looked even more useless when Fatu had to save them and finally leave L.A. Knight lying in the ring after using the Tongan Death Grip.
