Rockets forward's mom goes off on fans with NSFW rant after Game 4 loss to Warriors

The Houston Rockets are suddenly on the brink of elimination after losing Game 4 to the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, 109-106. It was a close battle back and forth, but the return of Jimmy Butler and a 26-point performance from Brandin Podziemski was too much as the Rockets saw a halftime lead evaporate.

Alperen Sengun led the way for Houston with a game-high 31 points along with 10 rebounds, and Fred VanVleet had 25 points with six assists.

Jalen Green had just eight points on 3-of-8 from the field, and Tari Eason had three points off the bench in 16 minutes of playing time.

After the game, Eason was the subject of some heavy criticism by fans on social media due to his performance. One fan posted Eason's stat line with the words, "MAMA CAN'T SAVE YOU."

Well, Eason's mom, Teroya Eason, had a strong response

"He’d not only start on the Warriors, but he’d be their 2’nd best player. Averaging 30 minutes. You unathletic (expletive) better pick on your own moms. Tell them to bring your pizza rolls and a drink downstairs you look thirsty. You talk about hoop. I birthed a hooper."

Some Warriors fans saw that comment and wasted no time chiming in, although Teroya Eason was active as can be on X after the game.

Who got that Gilbert Arenas segment on this?? Kuminga your second best player RIGHT NOW. Let me stop. https://t.co/gaFKFX7eyU

Later, somebody posted a clip of Eason's errant pass in the game, although his mom admitted she "dragged him" for that play in an expletive-filled post.

Tori Eason, who was the No. 17 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, averaged 12 points per game with 6.4 rebounds during the regular season and he had 28 points combined going into Game 4, so it was an uncharacteristic night for him, although his mom was not happy with the hate her son was generating.
