Rob Rausch Confesses He’s “Drunk” On ‘WWHL’ After Gifting Maura Higgins Her Birkin Bag

Rob Rausch might’ve been lying when he claimed to be a Faithful on The Traitors Season 4, but he was telling the truth when he promised to buy Maura Higgins a Hermés Birkin bag as a make-good for his deceitful gameplay.

The Love Island USA Season 6 star had Higgins fooled up until the final moment of their time in Ardross Castle when he revealed himself as a Traitor and took the $220,800 cash prize for himself, leaving her with nothing. At the Season 4 reunion, Higgins shared Rausch’s promise to buy her a Birkin bag—which starts at a whopping $10,000—to make up for his betrayal.

When the duo appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night (March 4), Rausch presented Higgins with the luxury purchase. Madison Avenue Couture, the store from which he bought the size 30 Birkin with gold hardware, sells the style starting at $26,000 (that is, unless Hermés gave him one for free as a thank you for all the free promotion).

“This is my win. I knew I’d have my moment,” Higgins excitedly told host Andy Cohen as Rausch went to fetch her gift. “He knows what bag I want. He knows every detail.”

When Rausch returned with the burgundy purse, Higgins jumped up to hug him, declaring, “You’re forgiven!” The two also thanked Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and fellow Traitors co-star Lisa Rinna for helping Rausch facilitate the purchase.

“We need to thank Lisa Rinna,” Higgins said, to which Rausch added, “Big thanks to Lisa Rinna. She did help majorly.”

Higgins continued to ogle at her “beautiful” new accessory, while Cohen chimed in, “I’m tinking all is forgiven! As it turns out, he’s a man of his word.”

Minutes later—after the ShotSki and the complimentary Bravo Clubhouse beverages—Rausch nearly broke his blasé fascade when he started laughing after Higgins named Rinna as the player with the best castle style (besides herself, of course).

“What are you laughing for?” Higgins asked, to which Rausch giggled, “I don’t know, I’m drunk.”

Could we blame him? He just spent a pretty penny on a Birkin! But a proud Cohen told him, “I love it. Good. I told you this was gonna be your new favorite talk show, Rob.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
