Dmytro Tereshchenko, a standout diver for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), has quickly risen to prominence in NCAA Division 1 diving.

Hailing from Mykolaiv, Ukraine, Tereshchenko's journey to the top has been marked by remarkable talent, a strong work ethic, and a deep commitment to his sport.

Before joining the UNLV team, Tereshchenko honed his skills at LOB Diving Club, where he earned multiple titles, including AAU Nationals and USA Regionals champion. These early successes helped him catch the attention of college scouts, setting the stage for his collegiate achievements.

Since arriving at UNLV in 2021, Tereshchenko has made an immediate impact. As a junior in the 2023-24 season, he earned a bronze medal at the WAC Championships, recording the second-highest score in UNLV history for a 1-meter dive. He also secured fifth-place finishes in both 1-meter and 3-meter dives at the same championships.

Tereshchenko's legacy at UNLV is becoming undeniable. With his senior year on the horizon, he is focused on climbing the NCAA rankings and adding more medals to his collection.
