Rich Paul said Wednesday he’s unbothered by the new claims that Jeanie Buss is no longer a fan of his biggest client, LeBron James.

On his “Game Over With Max Kellerman and Rich Paul” podcast, James’ agent downplayed the ESPN report that Buss, the 64-year-old Lakers longtime owner, has soured on James and his “outsized ego.”

“There’s an article written every day,” Paul said. “Who gives a s—t?

“I don’t.”

Citing team sources, ESPN alleged Buss has privately complained about the control that James, Paul and their Klutch Sports Group has on the Lakers organization. Additionally, the outlet reported Buss believed James has not been accountable through the years, including when he deflected blame following the team’s unsuccessful trade for Russell Westbrook before the start of the 2021-22 season.

Buss also, according to ESPN, was not happy with James’ reaction to Los Angeles taking his son, Bronny, with a second-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Paul, though, dismissed it all while chatting with Kellerman on the most recent episode of their hit show.

“When these types of articles come out, people want to take the clickbait,” Paul said. “You’ll see stuff floating around and floating around and floating around. And it’s going back to this is why I created the whole thing about being unbothered.

“You’ve got to be unbothered by this type of stuff. I am. It’s like, whatever.”

James joined the Lakers in free agency in 2018 and he helped lead the team to a championship in the 2020 season.

Paul noted that at the end of the day, that’s all anyone with the Lakers should be concerned with.

“You won,” he said. “So there’s nothing to talk about there.”
