‘RHOA’ Star Drew Sidora “Pulled Up” On Marlon Wayans In Atlanta To Ask Him About A ‘White Chicks’ Sequel: “I Think It May Be Happening, More Than Ever”

Like the rest of us, Drew Sidora is ready for a White Chicks sequel.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who famously played Shaunice in the 2004 comedy, told DECIDER that White Chicks 2 is on the horizon. Her source? White Chicks star, writer, and producer Marlon Wayans.

“I actually ran into Marlon in Atlanta,” Sidora shared when she stopped by DECIDER’s studio earlier this week. “I pulled up on him with my kids in the car and I was like, ‘White Chicks 2, what are we doing?’ He said, ‘After Scary Movie, we’re going to get into it.’ So, I think that White Chicks 2 may be happening, more than ever.”

Directed by Keenan Ivory Wayans and starring his brothers Marlon and Shawn Wayans, White Chicks follows two disgraced Black FBI agents who go undercover as white women to stop a kidnapping ploy involving two hotel heiresses. While the film was critically panned, it has cemented itself as one of the great comedies of the early aughts among audiences. The cult classic is, to this day, known for its iconic lines and laugh-out-loud scenes, including Terry Crews lip-synching to Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.”

Talks of a sequel have been happening for years. Back in 2019, Crews seemingly confirmed a second White Chicks movie was in the works on Watch What Happens Live, telling host Andy Cohen, “I actually got with Shawn and he was like, ‘Man, we’re doing it, we’re getting it going,'” per People. However, Marlon later shut down those claims, revealing on Instagram that they still didn’t “have a deal in place” for the sequel.

These days, as Marlon and Shawn gear up for the release of Scary Movie (2026), that dream of another White Chicks movie seems more in reach than ever before.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight back in April, Marlon said, “I’ll put it this way: we’re game. We want to know if people want to come out and laugh, and [if] they come see Scary Movie, then I definitely…”

Shawn chimed in, “If this movie does well, a White Chicks 2 can happen.”

Until Sidora gets that call from the Wayans brothers, you can watch her on The Real Housewives of Atlanta every Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
