Ex-New York magazine writer Olivia Nuzzi alleges that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. uses psychedelics despite being “sober” for years.

In her upcoming memoir, “America Canto,” Nuzzi claims that the Secretary of Health and Human Services told her that he uses psychedelics — and has smoked dimethyltryptamine, or DMT, per the New York Times.

DMT is the psychoactive ingredient in the drug ayahuasca, which has been used ritually and medicinally by Amazonian tribes for centuries. It is known to produce intense visual and auditory hallucinations, according to the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, and even gives people the feeling of a “near-death experience.”

Kennedy, however, has claimed to be sober for decades.

When he was 29, Kennedy pleaded guilty to a felony charge of possessing heroin. He checked into a drug treatment center and claims to have been sober since.

He has also battled an alleged sexual addiction, according to prior reports.

The New York Post exclusively reported that while he was married to his second wife, Mary Richardson, he kept a secret diary in which he chronicaled his multiple sexual conquests. Kennedy denied that the diary was his.

Richardson died by suicide two years after he filed for divorce. She had accused him of being a “sexual deviant” during their contentious divorce proceedings.

Kennedy is currently married to “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Cheryl Hines.

Hines briefly discussed Nuzzi and RFK Jr.’s alleged romance in her memoir, “Unscripted,” admitting that the headlines left her feeling “unimportant.”

However, she said that the couple “talked about all of the painful times we’d been through in the last few years and what we meant to each other,” and eventually they “tightened” their bond.
