Fans have been hoping that the time has come for Rey Mysterio to return to the ring once again after his injury earlier this year. He has missed a large part of the year already, and rumors were circulating that he was going to be back in the ring soon. Now, a veteran has made a revelation about when he will be back.

Rey Mysterio suffered a torn groin, and as a result, he had to lose out on his spot at WrestleMania. Since then, the masked star has not been seen on WWE TV. He was present for Worlds Collide but naturally could not wrestle. As per Konnan on his Keepin' It 100 podcast, Mysterio is not expected back until August.

"He's not back till August," said the legend. (32:43 - 32:45)

Konnan went on to reveal that Rey Mysterio was going to be at future AAA shows as well.

“Yeah, he will be in future shows. Great working with him and Dom, and I can’t wait to see who else I’m going to get to work with.” (32:10 - 32:20)

It seems that the Hall of Famer will not return until at least August. With Mysterio being injured and without a story at this point, fans will also have to see if the company immediately inserts him into a storyline after he is back from his injury.
