A groundbreaking new jet design would fix some of flyers’ most irritating mid-air problems with special waiting rooms for bathrooms and four aisles to move more freely.

Travelers — including weary parents with young kids — could avoid potential bathroom nightmares on JetZero’s spacious-but-windowless Z4 model, which is set to hit the runway as soon as 2030, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The revolutionary sting ray-shaped plane is wider and flatter than ones currently flying commercially, creating a layout with bathroom waiting areas separated from passengers’ seats, according to the California-based start-up.

The prototype allows flyers in line for restrooms more space to avoid bumping into passengers in seats or hovering awkwardly in the aisles, the firm said.

The plane prototype rolled one step closer to takeoff this week with a $3 billion deal for a loan, the Journal reported.

The 250-seat plane can fly higher than models currently on the market at 10,000 feet at 5,000 miles, the firm said. Its aerodynamic design also uses less fuel to make trips cheaper.

It features individually separated seats  instead of ones attached to rows, the company said. Travelers will also have their own overhead luggage storage but no passenger windows.

The start-up last week reached an early deal with the US Export-Import Bank for an up to $3 billion loan to build its first factory.

The firm has also gained the backing of about 20 airlines including Delta Air Lines, Alaska and United.

Critics, however, have said flyers near the wings of the plane could be exposed to higher levels of uncomfortable gravitational force when the plane turns.

Others were also concerned that the four-aisle layout changes how an evacuation would take place.

A full-scale prototype is set to fly in late 2027, with entry into service possible from the early 2030s, the outlet reported.

Reps for the firm declined to say when they expect the planes to potentially hit airport runways for commercial flights.
