A retired WWE veteran was spotted in the background during this week's episode of RAW. The star has been non-active as a wrestler for a few years now.
Retired WWE star Bobby Roode was present at RAW
Bobby Roode hung up his wrestling boots after he was forced to have C5-C6 neck fusion surgery and thus would be out of action for a long time. He had to go through C4-C5 cervical fusion as well, and in August 2023, he ended up transitioning from being an active in-ring wrestler to a retired star.
He ended up becoming a producer and has since helped stars in their matches, producing in a big way. Now, he has been spotted on RAW tonight two years after he ended his in-ring career.

Bobby Roode has been a big presence for WWE
While he may no longer be a regular wrestler in the ring, the role of a producer is something that's very important for the company.
The star has taken on a huge role backstage helping stars to plan out their matches. He is not alone either. The star was forced to retire, but there are other such stars whose injuries forced them to step away from wrestling in the same roles.
TJ Wilson is one of the biggest names to do so and has become known for being a top star backstage as a producer. Jason Jordan is another such name as well. Both stars were forced to retire, but have turned their careers around.
