I’ve been working remotely for almost a decade now, and if I’m being honest, I don’t think there’s any way I could go back to office life. The commute, the fluorescent lights, pretending to be busy while someone microwaves fish ten feet away from you, I’ve been liberated.
That’s why this Reddit post hit a nerve. A remote worker is being forced to commute 40 minutes into the office twice a week… just to sit alone in a room and join Zoom calls. No collaboration, no real purpose, just wasted time and gas.
Modern work can be truly absurd.
