Redmi launched the Turbo 5 Max back in January, and its successor's design has already leaked. Today, a well-known Chinese tipster has shared new details about the Redmi Turbo 6 Max's display, which he calls a true flagship screen.
The Turbo 6 Max will allegedly have a flat screen of about 7 inches, with a 2K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. It's said to use LIPO packaging, which shrinks the bottom bezel so it matches the others, leaving bezels of around 1mm on all four sides. The panel will reportedly also have large rounded corners, BT.2020 color support, and a high-brightness, low-power substrate.

That would be quite the upgrade over the Turbo 5 Max, which has a 6.83-inch 1280x2772 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 7-inch size and 2K resolution were first rumored back in July, along with a January launch. The 185Hz refresh rate and 1mm bezels, on the other hand, are new details that we haven’t heard before.
The same tipster previously said the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 9500s chipset and pack a battery of over 10,000 mAh. The Turbo 5 Max went global as the Poco X8 Pro Max, so it's quite possible that the Turbo 6 Max will follow in its footsteps as the Poco X9 Pro Max.
