Diomande, who arrived at Sporting CP from his boyhood club Midtjylland in 2023, was a regular starter for the Portuguese side last season. He started in 42 of the 46 appearances he made while registering two goals and one assist.
Diomande's efforts on the pitch have turned heads with Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Chelsea, along with Real Madrid, attempting to acquire his signature. The Ivorian star has also been linked with a potential move to Crystal Palace.
While Sporting have set a reported hefty release clause of €80 million (£68.3m / $92.2m) for Diomande, it remains to be seen where the defender ends up this summer.
