Real Madrid entered the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup as one of the favourites to win the new expanded tournament.
Los Blancos qualified as one of the UEFA Champions League winners during the period from 2021 to 2024, and their status as arguably the grandest club in the world is likely to draw huge crowds when they compete in the United States in June and July this year.
Carlo Ancelotti's team may not have enjoyed much of the 2024/25 season as they lost their La Liga and Champions League crowns, but now under the guidance of new head coach Xabi Alonso, they are at the Club World Cup looking to extend their record as the most successful side in the old tournament's history.
Below, The Sporting News lays out their schedule for the competition.
Real Madrid's FIFA Club World Cup 2025 group
Real Madrid were placed in Group H at the competition and they will face three opponents in the group stages.
- Salzburg (Austria)
- Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia)
- Pachuca (Mexico)

Real Madrid FIFA Club World Cup 2025 fixture schedule
Madrid started their campaign against Al Hilal, and they will next face Pachuca and Salzburg.

Where will Real Madrid play their 2025 Club World Cup games?
Group Stage
Madrid's opening game was against Al Hilal at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.
They then headed to Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium to face Pachuca on Matchday 2, and they'll travel to Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field to take on Salzburg.
Knockout Stage
If Madrid finish top of their group, they will play their Round of 16 game back in Miami on July 1, then a possible quarterfinal at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Should they qualify as runners-up, they will face the winners of Group G at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on June 30, with a potential quarterfinal at the same venue.
Both semifinals and final take place at MetLife Stadium.
