The Tank Dell injury creates a void in the Texans’ passing game.
Houston is now down two receivers, losing Dell after Stefon Diggs went down with a season-ending ACL tear earlier this year.
Nico Collins is going to get his chances no matter who he shares the field with, but someone else is going to have to step up alongside him.
Enter tight end Dalton Schultz, who has had a solid stretch after a slow start to the season.
Schultz is averaging nearly 39 receiving yards per game over his last eight games after failing to hit that number through the first six weeks of the NFL season.
Now, with so many Texan pass-catchers sidelined, Schultz is sure to take on an even bigger role.

After Dell left the game early in the third quarter, Schultz had three catches for 33 yards on four targets.
He finished the game with five catches and eight targets — both tying a season-high — and they’ll get a much easier assignment on Christmas.
