Ravens vs. Texans live score, updates, highlights from 2024 NFL Christmas game

The NFL is playing two games on Christmas in 2024, even though the holiday falls on a Wednesday. The day begins with the Chiefs taking on the Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Texans hosting the Ravens at 4:30 p.m. ET. 

Baltimore is coming off a 34-17 win over Pittsburgh. The Ravens have won both games since their bye week in Week 14 and have clinched a playoff berth. Baltimore has the same record as Pittsburgh, but the Steelers own the tiebreaker, which is currently a better conference record. The Ravens need to have one extra win than the Steelers over the last two weeks of the season, and they will clinch the AFC North. It could come at the expense of getting players extra rest before the playoffs, but Baltimore is in regardless. 

The Texans will be without wide receiver Tank Dell in the game. He suffered an injury against the Chiefs last week, dislocating his knee and tearing his ACL. Houston claimed wide receiver Diontae Johnson off of waivers, who was released by the Ravens late last week. The Texans have already clinched the AFC South, so they are locked into a top-four seed in the AFC playoffs. Houston can't be the No. 1 seed and get the bye, but they will host a first-round playoff game no matter what happens in the season's final two weeks.

Kickoff from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET. This is the second of two Christmas Day games this year, so the start could be delayed if the first game runs long. There will also likely be pre-game festivities for the holiday, meaning the game will probably start a few minutes late anyway.
