Ravens' updated cap space, list of 2026 NFL draft picks after Maxx Crosby trade

2 hours ago 3

The Baltimore Ravens have swooped in and landed Maxx Crosby in a blockbuster trade with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The deal, which went down on Friday night, sees the Ravens giving up two first-round picks for the five-time Pro Bowler, marking the first time in team history Baltimore has traded at least one first-round pick for a player.

If there was any player worthy of the Ravens breaking the mold, it's Crosby, who will offer a gigantic boost to Baltimore's pass-rush, which was much-needed. The veteran is also a fantastic leader who will only make the culture stronger.

If nothing changes, Baltimore will be taking on Crosby's $30 million base salary. Here's an updated look at the Ravens' salary cap space.

Ravens cap space after Crosby trade

According to Over The Cap, the Ravens are unofficially $12.1 million over the cap as of this writing.

We say unofficially because the trade can't be made official until the start of the new league year, so Crosby's money isn't technically on the books yet.

Before the trade, the Ravens were $22 million under, so that means Baltimore has to clear at least another $8 million or so just to fit Crosby's contract in.

That might seem like a rough situation, but the Ravens can free up a ton more cap space if they can hammer out an extension with Lamar Jackson. We would expect that major domino to fall in the next few days, but nothing is guaranteed.

Ravens 2026 NFL draft picks

Without their first-round pick in 2026, the Ravens are still in good shape in terms of draft capital, with Baltimore sporting 10 projected picks. Here's the full slate:

  • Round 2
  • Round 3
  • Round 4
  • Round 5
  • Round 5 (via LAC)
  • Round 5 (projected comp pick)
  • Round 5 (projected comp pick)
  • Round 6 (via DEN)
  • Round 7 (projected comp pick)
  • Round 7 (projected comp pick)

The fifth-round pick from the Los Angeles Chargers came via the Odafe Oweh trade.

The sixth-round pick from the Denver Broncos was acquired in the Jaire Alexander trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, who held Denver's pick after a 2025 draft trade before sending it to Baltimore.

As for the compensatory picks, which are projected, Baltimore got the two fifth-rounders via the free-agent departures of Brandon Stephens and Patrick Mekari, and netted the two seventh-round selections because of the departures of Tre'Davious White and Josh Jones.
