Ravens trade for Dre'Mont Jones from Titans

The Baltimore Ravens have won two games in a row, and they want to get better.

On Monday night, they traded for Dre'Mont Jones from the Tennessee Titans.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the trade:

"The #Ravens are trading for #Titans edge Dre’Mont Jones, sending a conditional 5th rounder that could possibly become a fourth-rounder. More defensive help in Baltimore from a player whose has had 4.5 sacks in the last four games."

The Ravens traded away a pass rusher a few weeks ago in the form of Odafe Oweh.

Now, they get a pass rusher back.

Baltimore was 1-5 before Tyler Huntley led them past the Bears and then Lamar Jackson returned to lead them past the Dolphins.

The Ravens may very well not be done.

They've got less than 24 hours until the Tuesday trade deadline, and they'll want to do anything they can to keep their momentum going.

Jones is a good start. The former Seahawks standout was expendable for the Titans, who are in a full-on rebuild.

He'll certainly help Baltimore put pressure on opposing QBs as they try to make a run back into the playoff picture.
