The Baltimore Ravens certainly should be seeking another wide receiver. Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman could use some help in the WR depth chart.
The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec wrote in a new article that one guy makes a lot of sense: Jauan Jennings, from the San Francisco 49ers.
Jennings has surprisingly lingered in free agency, and the Ravens might have a chance to benefit.
"Widely considered the top free-agent receiver available, Jennings is a big, physical target who makes contested catches and is a weapon in the red zone and on third downs," Zrebiec writes. "He had 15 touchdowns over the past two seasons for the San Francisco 49ers. He’s also an extremely physical blocker on the perimeter, which is important to the Ravens. He still might be primed to make more money than Baltimore wants to pay, but if his market doesn’t materialize, DeCosta should consider pouncing. He’d be a nice fit."

Jennings has filled a lot of roles in his career with the 49ers, but he's very talented at a number of key skills, and the analytical metrics usually grade out very positively on Jennings.
Especially after a shaky season for Bateman, the Ravens might be wise to find someone else to be Lamar Jackson's secondary target beyond Flowers.
Zrebiec also broke down the chances of signing a familiar name, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown.
"There’s been a lot of speculation about a reunion between the Ravens and their 2019 first-round pick, although there’s been no indication that it’s anything more than an attempt to connect the dots," Zrebiec writes. "Marquise Brown and DeCosta have a very good relationship. Brown is also extremely close with Jackson, and they are offseason workout partners. There’s no question that the Ravens need a receiver, and Brown’s speed and big-play ability would be a welcome addition. However, if the Ravens use a chunk of cap space on a receiver, you’d think they’ll be looking at bigger targets."
The Ravens could also get themselves involved in the A.J. Brown trade sweepstakes with the Eagles, Zrebiec adds.
Jennings, though, seems like a logical guy to pursue. The longer his free agency goes, the better chance the Ravens may have of swiping in to snag him.
