Ravens' Lamar Jackson reacts to DeAndre Hopkins 'washed' narrative with 2 words

The Baltimore Ravens avenged their Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills with a 41-17 win over the Cleveland Browns that saw the passing game take over instead of Derrick Henry and the run game.

Due to this, more opportunities came the way of several players, including veteran DeAndre Hopkins.

After his one-handed catch last week, D-Hop was back at it again in Week 2 as he hauled in two catches for 64 yards and a long-bomb touchdown from Lamar Jackson.

There has been some chatter on social media that Hopkins might be a little past his prime of late, and to that, Lamar has this to say.

“I seen it his whole career,” Jackson said. “Even when I wasn't in the league, I've been watching D-Hop make spectacular catches, and when he was on other teams as well, but just seeing him in camp, just building chemistry there, and I feel everyone calling him, I believe people be calling him washed, but he's showing otherwise.”

Ravens bounce back from Bills loss with authority

The loss to Buffalo was a brutal one to take for the Ravens, and the last thing head coach John Harbaugh wanted was for that to carry over to the Browns game, and it didn't. Now, Baltimore has its teeth into the season and can look forward to putting Week 1 behind them as quickly as possible.

Despite converting just three of 12 third-down attempts and Henry being a non-factor (23 rush yards), it was Lamar and the passing attack that shredded the Browns to the tune of 225 passing yards and four touchdowns.

So, the much-vaunted Ravens run game was nowhere to be seen against Cleveland, but it didn't matter as Lamar and Co. took control.

Oh yeah, and Hopkins reminded us that he's still a valuable weapon, too.
