The Baltimore Ravens are 2-1 heading into their Week 4 matchup against the Tennessee Titans at home, and quarterback Lamar Jackson is making a statement with his big plays.

The Ravens missed the playoffs last year, and that stung. It's up to this MVP-winning quarterback and the team's new head coach Jesse Minter to get this team to the postseason this time around and further.

In a CBS Sports feature going into Week 4, Garrett Podell ranks each of the NFL's quarterbacks. He has some glowing things to say about Jackson, and it's a nice thing for Ravens fans to see.

Lamar Jackson is putting up impressive numbers

"Lamar Jackson was nearly perfect throwing the football in the Baltimore Ravens' 34-31 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3, completing 15 of his 20 throws for 186 yards and two touchdowns while also adding 50 rushing yards," he notes in the piece. "He needed just six seconds to get Baltimore in position for a game-winning, 56-yard field goal after hitting Zay Flowers for a 27-yard gain on the first play of the game's final drive."

Those are impressive numbers and show that Jackson is worthy of his MVP history. He's ranked No. 3 on the list, only behind Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdy. Jackson is even ranked above Josh Allen, who comes in at No. 4.

As for the other stats, per Podell, "Jackson is fourth in the league in passer rating at 113.1, third in the league in EPA per dropback and he leads the NFL in yards per pass attempt at 9.8." It's a strong early showing for the quarterback.
