Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has something to prove. He's certainly one of the strongest quarterbacks in the league, but last year was tough.
During the 2025 regular season, Jackson played 13 games, passing for 2,549 yards, 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions with a 103.8 passer rating. He also rushed for 349 yards and two touchdowns, according to NFL research.
It was good but not good enough to get the Ravens to make noise in the postseason. Now, Jackson is already out to prove that he's still one of the hottest players in the league.
Jeremy Fowler, Dan Graziano and Ben Solak of ESPN are reporting from NFL training camps this month. Their latest report shows that Jackson means business.

In the piece, Fowler notes that Jackson "was stretching the field and connecting with a new playmaker on the outside."
He adds that "Jackson, who was working from under center often, was aggressively throwing downfield when the timing was right, sometimes from play-action."
Fowler adds not to overthink it. "Jackson is still Jackson," he says. "He also looks in sync with head coach Jesse Minter and Doyle. Jackson has been known to huddle up with Doyle on the sidelines at times between series."
Now that Jackson has a new head coach, it's really a new chapter in his time as a quarterback. It would be going too far to say this is a make-or-break year for him, but a head coach change always puts a little fire under the feet of everyone on the roster.
