Ravens get 'just right' win total projection that fans will love to see

The Baltimore Ravens are heading into the 2026 NFL season with some major changes within the franchise. While the roster isn't significantly different, the exchange of coaches, bringing in Jesse Minter to replace John Harbaugh, is a huge one.

They did add some new talent to both sides of the ball, but for the most part, this is a team running it back. However, after a down year in 2025, it's going to take a turnaround to return to top playoff-contending status.

Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic believes that the Ravens' 10.9 projected win total from The Athletic is "just right" ahead of what could be a huge bounce-back season for Baltimore in 2026.

"Projected wins: 10.9. Verdict: Just right," Zrebiec writes. "... The Ravens, at least right now, are pretty healthy and have a forgiving schedule to start the season. A number of factors point to a Baltimore bounce-back."

Adding Minter to replace Harbaugh might be a net-positive decision for the franchise, especially if this 10.9-win total projection were to come true.

If the Ravens won 11 games, they'd likely be contending for the AFC North title, and likely for the top spot in the AFC as well.

Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews, and maybe even rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane could lead this offense to a resurgent 2026 season.

The Baltimore defense under Minter should be significantly better than it was last year, and if all goes right, the Ravens could wind up as one of the top Super Bowl contenders by season's end.

Zrebiec noting that this 10.9 projected win total is "just right" for the Ravens is a good sign for their playoff chances and 2026 season as a whole.

Not only is it a high projected win total, but it's one that he believes is warranted for the Ravens heading into their first season without Harbaugh in a very long time.
