The Baltimore Ravens might be in good shape for Week 6, as a few key players might be coming back from injury this weekend.

Facing the Cleveland Browns, Lamar Jackson has a chance to suit up after missing a week due to an ankle injury. But he's not the only player who might come back from injury.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Ravens might be getting fan-favorite rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane back from IR this weekend.

Ravens get good news on Ja'Kobi Lane's Week 6 status

"Ravens WR Ja'Kobi Lane is expected to return to practice, four weeks after wrist surgery, per me and @RapSheet," Garafolo reports. "The rookie, who impressed in camp and was set to have a big role in the team's offense, has a shot to play this weekend, per HC Jesse Minter."

Getting Lane back would be huge for this offense. While Zay Flowers is off to a great start this season, the Ravens really could use their fan favorite rookie WR back.

Rashod Bateman is a fine option, but he's been inconsistent in his career and is better suited to be the team's No. 3 option in the WR room.

Mark Andrews, meanwhile, has struggled a bit to start the year. He had a fumble turn into a touchdown in Week 5, and he's only caught one touchdown despite being the Ravens' red zone threat.

Behind those two and Flowers, the Ravens' pass-catchers are Matthew Hibner, Josh Cuevas, Nick Vannett at tight end, and Devontez Walker, LaJohntay Wester, and Elijah Sarratt at wide receiver.

Lane, the 6-foot-4 rookie who impressed over the summer and had four receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown in the preseason, could become a key weapon for the Ravens once he's officially back.

Getting a good red zone threat in Lane would make a huge difference for Jackson and this offense. With some issues near the goal line in recent years, the big-bodied Lane could become a real threat to score multiple touchdowns this season.

Fortunately, it appears Lane, currently on injured reserve due to wrist surgery after Week 1, could be back for the Ravens this weekend against the Browns.

Nothing is guaranteed, and he needs to prove he's healthy in practice this week. But just hearing he's potentially ready to return is some huge news for a Ravens team in need of a bit more offensive firepower.
