Ravens' Derrick Henry sets all-time NFL record in historic night for Baltimore

2 hours ago 3

The question last week was, "Why didn't Derrick Henry get the ball more?"

This week, the Baltimore Ravens answered by giving him a career-high 36 carries.

Henry was epic all Saturday night in a win over the Green Bay Packers.

He ran for 216 yards and four touchdowns, a game befitting a King.

In the process, Henry set an NFL record.

It was his seventh career 200-yard game. The previous record was six, which had been done by both Adrian Peterson and O.J. Simpson, with that shared on the Peacock broadcast.

Henry was his usual unstoppable self. As soon as he turned up the field, he became almost impossible to bring down.

It came on a crucial stage, too. If the Ravens had lost Saturday night, they would've been officially eliminated from the playoffs.

With the win, they stay alive. They need Cleveland to win over Pittsburgh on Sunday to set up a win-and-in Week 18 against the Steelers.

There was no question this week that Henry would be the guy. Lamar Jackson was out. Backup Tyler Huntley played well, yes, but Henry needed to be the man, and he was.

He left Lambeau Field with his crown very much intact.
