Ravens' Derrick Henry contract rumors come into focus for shocking bargain

23 hours ago 1

The Baltimore Ravens have an absolute bargain in running back Derrick Henry.

The only question is what happens after this season.

Henry made $9 million last season when he ran for 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns.

In 2025, Henry is due to make just $6 million on the last year of his deal.

King Henry is 31 years old, ancient in running back years. But he also hasn't shown signs of slowing down.

At 6-foot-2, 247 pounds, Henry isn't made like most running backs.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said that a Henry extension is "definitely in the conversation."

It'd be an unprecedented deal for an RB who is this good this late in his career. But the Ravens also clearly are better with Henry, at least if he's still playing at this level.

Expect a Henry extension to stay in the rumors for a while until it comes to fruition.
