The Baltimore Ravens have had a dreadful start to the season, starting 1-4 and now staring 1-5 in the face should the lose to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
The Ravens were blown out by the Houston Texans in Week 5 by the score of 44-10. With Lamar Jackson ruled out of Week 6, as well, it will be Cooper Rush who will get the start. That won't bring much confidence to Ravens fans, as Rush played terrible, frankly speaking, against the Texans. In light of this, it appears the Ravens are preparing to give Rush a very short leash against the Rams with their latest roster move.
Baltimore elevated quarterback Snoop Huntley to the active roster on Saturday. Huntley helped get the Ravens to the playoffs in 2022 when Jackson went down with injury and earned a Pro Bowl nod because of it.
Many may be wondering why he wasn't the starter in front of Rush, and it's a fair question to ask after seeing Rush's performance against Houston. Don't be surprised if Huntley is in the game sooner rather than later.
