Rams rumor has four-time Pro Bowl WR as an ideal fit to help Matthew Stafford

The Los Angeles Rams came out of the 2026 NFL offseason with a big question mark at a very important position of wide receiver.

While they have Puka Nacua and Davante Adams as elite options, the Rams depth chart behind them is very questionable.

That's why it's not a surprise that ESPN's Matt Bowen is linking the Rams to a free agent WR who could instantly help out the Rams' offense.

"The Ravens could be a fit here for Diggs, but I really like him in L.A. alongside Puka Nacua and Davante Adams," Bowen writes.

Adding Stefon Diggs to the Rams' wide receiver corps with Adams and Nacua would form a strong three-headed WR room that would surely cause fits for defenses in 2026, and would be an ideal fit for the Rams this offseason.

Rams would be an ideal landing spot for Stefon Diggs

Diggs is coming off a solid year for the New England Patriots, posting 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns in Drake Maye's breakout sophomore season.

The journeyman receiver has played for a lot of different teams since his days with the Minnesota Vikings, and he's had some incredible moments during his career as well.

While he might not be the All-Pro receiver he was with the Buffalo Bills, if he joined Matthew Stafford and the Rams receivers, there is a good chance he'd thrive in a limited role.

He might not put up the elite production that he did in the beginning of his career, but he would be ideal depth behind Nacua and Adams, along with a great complementary piece who can play in the slot or on the outside.

After passing on a WR in the NFL Draft, the Rams need to find a way to add a bit more depth to their WR room. And signing Diggs would be a great way of doing so this offseason.
