The Los Angeles Rams are dealing with a lot of issues on their roster heading into Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Sitting at 2-4, this Rams team is in dire need of a win this weekend to stay in the race for the NFC West, let alone a playoff spot.

Unfortunately, the defensive line is severely depleted, and they also just lost wide receiver Davante Adams for an extended period of time. But the bad news just keeps coming, with Puka Nacua suffering a calf injury at practice on Thursday.

Ian Rapoport on The Pat McAfee Show revealed an update on Nacua, noting that the Rams' WR is "very much up in the air" to play in Week 7, which doesn't exactly bode well for Nacua suiting up this weekend.

Rams get bad news as Puka Nacua is 'very much up in the air' to play in Week 7

"I don't know if Puka's going to play this week," Rapoport said. "I was told his calf injury is not considered to be major, which is good. Minor is good. ... I would say it's very much up in the air."

This update on Nacua is unfortunately not a huge surprise. While the report that it's only a minor injury is a sigh of relief, meaning he's not going to miss a lot of time like Adams, there's no telling how much he'll actually be impacted.

Based on this report from Rapoport, it seems very possible that Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay will have to figure things out in Week 7 without Nacua.

If Nacua is out, Kyren Williams and Blake Corum will be huge pieces of this offense, while Tyler Higbee, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen, and maybe even Max Klare at tight end will play a huge role.

At wide receiver, Konata Mumpfield is likely to be the team's No. 1 option, with Jordan Whittington, Tutu Atwell, CJ Daniels, and Alex Bachman factoring into the WR rotation as well.

For a team in desperate need of a win, the Nacua injury is about as bad as it gets. Even though he isn't set to miss an extended period of time, his potential Week 7 absence is just about the worst thing that could happen to this offense after losing Adams.

Will Nacua actually miss Week 7's matchup against the Raiders? It's very possible. He could end up being a game-time decision. While it's not a major injury, the calf injury for Nacua is one that's threatening his Week 7 status.
