A Rams and 49ers fan traded blows at a watch party in Los Angeles Thursday night, turning the gathering into a WWE-type brawl after an argument reportedly spun out of control.

It happened at Cosm, near SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood, where NFL fans had gathered to watch the Week 1 showdown between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers being played for the first time in Melbourne, Australia.

The wild video posted on Instagram on Friday, showed a shirtless Rams fan launching himself over a row of seats and landing on top of a 49ers fan in a white T-shirt following an apparent verbal confrontation.

The shirtless fan immediately began raining down blows as the other man lay on the ground beneath him.

The person who posted the video wrote, The guy with the white T-shirt is the one who started the whole argument.”

“He’s the one that was calling out all the LA Rams names back-and-forth.”

“The guy without a T-shirt was respectfully telling the guy to stop bothering him up to four times,” the poster added.

The poster said that after that, the venue “became a WWE arena.”

Video showed food and tables going flying as the two slugged it out. It is unclear what happened next, as the clip ends.

There were plenty of reactions to the brawl online, with commenters roasting both the fight and the fans involved.

“Give Rams fans a break, they’ve only been watching football for 10 years they’re still learning,” one person wrote.

“Paid money to watch a game, left with an elbow to the face from the top row,” another added.

“This is why we can’t have nice things and how they raise prices,” a third person wrote.

It was a much better night on the field for 49ers fans, with San Francisco crushing Los Angeles 27-7 to open the 2026 season.
