After the Las Vegas Raiders ended their 2024 campaign with a 4-13 record and blew out their head coach and general manager just a year into their tenures, their new regime and roster of new and old faces are looking to prove themselves in 2025.
At this point in the offseason, we're still waiting to find out the time and dates of Las Vegas' matchups in the 2025 NFL season, and that will all be announced Wednesday night when the league releases the full 18-week schedule for all 32 teams.
However, what we do know is who the Raiders will be playing as well as where those games will take place, and those facts are just as important in predicting how a team will perform in the upcoming season.
NFL analyst Warren Sharp recently did the math and put together strength of schedules for each team in the league based on projected win totals from Vegas oddsmakers.
With this model, the Raiders have the 15th-toughest schedule in the league in 2025. It's the fifth-toughest slate in conference and the second-toughest in the division.
This year, Las Vegas will take on the three other AFC West teams (Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos) twice as they do every year. They'll also play the fourth-place teams from each division in the conference (New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans).

This year, they'll also take on the three remaining AFC South teams (Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans) as well as all four teams from the NFC East (Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders).
The opponents and locations alone won't determine how difficult a schedule is at the end of the day. Travel, injuries and fatigue will be factors as well, and what makes football so entertaining is that any team could lose to another each week. Upsets happen so frequently.
With the Raiders have made a ton of changes to their coaching staff and roster over the last few months, they could surprise and win more than the 6.5 games they're currently projected to in Vegas.
