Raiders' Kolton Miller receives recognition from NFL executives, coaches and scouts

Kolton Miller received some recognition from NFL executives, coaches, and scouts in the latest ESPN position rankings.

Though Miller wasn't ranked as a top ten offensive tackle in football, the Las Vegas Raiders left tackle made an appearance on the honorable mentions portion of the list, and an anonymous AFC scout even praised Miller for his consistency throughout his career.

"He had a slow start last year due to a shoulder issue, but he picked it up. He's a very consistent player. Not quite in the top tier, but just outside of that," an AFC scout said to ESPN on Miller.

Miller has started 107 games at left tackle for the Raiders since entering the league in 2018.

Outside of a rough rookie season, where he allowed 16 sacks, Miller has been a solid pass protector for most of his career and is also a difference-maker in the run game. The 29-year-old didn't look great to start the 2024 campaign, as he allowed six sacks and 12 quarterback pressures in the first four games of the season.

However, Miller ended 2024 on a high note, surrendering just one sack in the final 13 contests and providing high-level play as a blind side protector.

Entering a contract year in 2025, Miller has a ton of motivation to build off a strong finish to the 2024 season and earn another contract with Las Vegas. It's hard to find reliable offensive tackles at the highest level of professional football, so if Miller can perform well this season, the Raiders won't hesitate to bring him back on a lucrative long-term deal.
