Sarah Paulson, Holland Taylor Enjoy Rare Date Night at Oscars Party

Rachael Leigh Cook and Brandon Routh were all that during their Oscars date night.

Indeed, the Hallmark actors marked a rare public outing as they attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in Los Angeles on March 15. For her part, the She’s All That star wore a sky blue halter gown with floral embellishments and carried a petite lavender handbag.

As for Brandon, he kept it classic in a traditional black tux and long skinny tie. Rachael and the Superman alum, both 46, showed minimal PDA as they held each other close while walking the white carpet and posing for pictures during the annual soiree.

The pair’s date night comes after three months after they made their red carpet debut as a couple during the St. Jude Evening of Hope gala in November. For the occasion, months after they sparked romance rumors, the Caught by Love actress wrote a glittering gold gown as she smiled alongside her leading man.

Rachael’s relationship with Brandon comes after her 2019 divorce from ex Daniel Gillis—with whom she shares kids Charlotte, 11, and Theodore, 10—after 14 years of marriage. (He and Courtney Ford, parents to Leo, 12, finalized their divorce in 2025.)

“I am the most incorrigible full-tilt romantic you have ever met in your whole life, to the point that it's probably unreasonable,” she joked to People in October 2022. “So yeah, totally open to that happening again.”

However, the Josie and the Pussycats star admitted that she would take her time before saying “I do” again, noting, she “will be slightly more cautious in making that decision because I have kids involved and such in my life now."
