Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Details about the arrest are limited, but we will update this article as we get more.
Judkins was part of the running back tandem at Ohio State alongside TreVeyon Henderson, and he was the third running back selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. Ashton Jeanty was the first selected at the position when he went sixth overall to the Raiders, UNC's Omarion Hampton was taken 22nd overall to the Chargers, and Judkins was the next off the board, with Cleveland using the 36th overall pick to bring him in.
The assumption was that selecting Judkins played into the team's decision not to bring back longtime RB Nick Chubb, who signed with the Texans in free agency. Now, the rookie could be facing discipline from the league depending on what comes from this arrest.

Ford took over after Chubb went down with an injury in 2023. He finished that year with 813yards and four touchdowns on 204 carries. Ford added 319 yards and five additional touchdowns on 44 receptions. Chubb was healthy in 2024, which cut into Ford's workload. Cleveland doubled up on several offensive positions in the 2025 NFL Draft. At quarterback, the Browns notably selected both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. For running back, Cleveland selected Judkins in the third round and followed it up with Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson in the fourth round. The former Volunteers back finished his career with 2,492 yards and 35 touchdowns in 35 career games.
Strong Jr. began his career with New England in 2022 after the organization took him with a fourth-round pick that year. He was traded to Cleveland ahead of the 2023 season. Strong Jr. has largely played a supportive backup role with minimal work in two seasons with the Browns. All told, he has 499 rushing yards and two scores in three professional seasons.
