Quincy Wilson revealed his top five college choices after finally concluding visits for his perfect NCAA program. Over time, the American visited the University of Tennessee, and more to explore his choices.

Wilson is one of the most prominent track and field athletes, as last year he became the youngest American track athlete to compete at the Olympics. He ran the first leg of the heats of the men's 4x400m relay event and clocked a split of 47.27s. Although he did not run in the final round of the race, the 17-year-old was awarded a gold medal in the event.

Shortly after his maiden Summer Games, Wilson began searching for the ideal college for himself. From visiting the University of Tennessee to being visited by the University of Maryland's track and field faculty, he has now narrowed down his top five college choices. The 17-year-old shared a picture of himself in five jerseys, showing his top choices on Instagram.

The five colleges were UCLA Track & Field, Texas A&M, USC Track & Field, Maryland Track & Field, and South Carolina Track & Field. The post's caption read:

"Where's home??? #top5," wrote Quincy Wilson.

Earlier this year, in June, Wilson was visited by the University of Maryland's Head Track Coach, Associate Head Coach, and Assistant Coach, to discuss the prospect of him joining their collegiate program.

Quincy Wilson shared some advice for the upcoming generation

During the 2025 indoor season, Quincy Wilson visited the Grove Elementary School, where he made his feelings known about coming back there and interacting with the kids. He motivated the younger generation to pursue their dreams while opening up about his goal to have a legacy in the sport.

"Feels amazing to come back to the school and see the kids having a big smile on their faces. I feel like that is my big goal at the end of the day. It's really not to get the gold medals and keep winning, put a legacy on this sport, and letting the kids know they can do something they can't do," Quincy Wilson said.

Further, the young athlete asked the kids to stay focused and put their best efforts into achieving their dreams without being affected by the crowd.

"Stay focused, never put limits on yourself. There are so many things that can happen. Honestly, staying focused on what you want to do, don't get put into the crowd everybody wants you to. Stay focused on what you want to do, and sky is the limit," he added.

In the 2025 track season, Quincy Wilson earned his fifth National title at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor 2025 after gracefully defending his 400m title by clocking 45.37s.
