Pure insanity at AEW Worlds End 2025; husband-wife duo get physical on-screen

An unexpected occurrence has taken place tonight at AEW Worlds End. A married couple on the roster has suddenly gotten physical with one another during one of the matches.

The Death Riders and Conglomeration have been feuding for a few months now. Despite the different battles between them, they continue to cross paths, and this time around, they faced off in an eight-person mixed tag team match.

Marina Shafir and Roderick Strong, who are married in real life, have been in conflicts of interest as they are allied with feuding AEW factions. They have interacted on-screen, but it has always been tense between them. There was even a moment where Shafir spat on her own husband.

Tonight, this reached another level. At one point in the match, the Death Riders had Strong in their grasp. Shafir was able to land a brutal chop on her husband. They then sent him to the corner and began a train of corner splashes.

This was not their only interaction, as they had a one-on-one encounter later on in the contest. They were the only two in the ring, and after a brief staredown, Marina Shafir kicked Roderick Strong in the neck. He retaliated by striking her with a brutal chop when she turned her back on him.

This was the first time that a married couple in AEW has been on opposite sides, and the first time that things have gotten physical between them. This was an interesting moment, and despite this being in kayfabe, it will be interesting to see how they address this once the match is over.

Marina Shafir and Toni Storm's involvement in this match completely changed everything, as apart from the married couple's moment, there were many other fun intergender spots.
