Puka Nacua is wasting no time getting familiar with his new quarterback.
The Rams superstar hit Thursday’s USA vs. Turkey World Cup game with Ty Simpson, and at one point, the veteran receiver was actually spotted by The California Post giving the rookie some pointers on how to get around SoFi Stadium.
As the two walked into the VIP section of the venue, Simpson made a wrong turn, but Nacua made sure Los Angeles’ newest signal-caller found the right way.

NBA legend Scottie Pippen was there too.
While Nacua and Simpson are clearly forming a bond off the field, the Rams are anticipating they won’t have to see their on-field connection blossom for a while.
Even though Los Angeles spent the No. 13 overall pick on Simpson in April’s draft, the hope in Los Angeles is that Matthew Stafford keeps him off the field for the foreseeable future.
But whenever Stafford’s time as QB1 in Los Angeles ends, it seems Simpson’s already laying the foundation for a good relationship with the team’s top wideout.
Nacua is coming off a monster season, leading the NFL in catches while climbing to the top of the league’s all-time list for receiving yards per game. He also finished tied for third in receiving touchdowns.
The Rams star ranked second on the team in touchdown catches, trailing only Davante Adams, who paced the entire NFL with 14.
