Manchester City face off with Paris Saint-Germain on their return to UEFA Champions League action on January 22.

Pep Guardiola's side land in the French capital on the back of a superb 6-0 weekend Premier League win away at Ipswich Town, but their European form is a concern for the Catalan coach.

Just eight points from their six league phase games in 2024 means Guardiola's team are battling to secure a playoff spot for the Round of 16 knockouts next month - with PSG fairing even worse - with just seven points picked up.

Marquinhos returns to anchor the home defence after missing PSG's past three games. 

Fellow centre-back Presnel Kimpembe is back on the bench alongside Ousmane Dembele, who has recovered from illness.

As expected, Luis Enrique goes without a conventional centre-forward. Desire Doue, Kang-in Lee and Bradley Barcola are his front three.

John Stones is not quite ready to return from an ankle issue with Oscar Bobb and Rodri both long-term absentees for the visitors, but Bernardo Silva should rotate back in.
