The Denver Broncos have one of the hottest assistant coaches in the NFL on their coaching staff in Davis Webb.
Webb has been on Sean Payton's staff in Denver since 2023, serving as the quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator.
Despite never calling plays and having little coaching experience, Webb has been receiving a ton of head-coaching interest and is even a finalist for the Las Vegas Raiders' job.
However, FanSided's Chris Landers predicts Webb will not land a head coaching gig and will instead leave the Broncos to become the offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens under new head coach Jesse Minter.
Here is what Landers had to say about Webb and his potential fit in Baltimore as offensive coordinator:
"Minter will have plenty of leash as a first-year coach, so you don't have to worry about immediate job security, and the opportunity to work with a talent like Lamar Jackson doesn't come around very often. The Ravens job certainly isn't perfect, but Webb can truly set his candidacy apart next time around once he steps out from Payton's shadow."
Webb is destined to get a promotion sooner rather than later, and he would be a home-run offensive coordinator hire by the Ravens.
Baltimore must do all they can to maximize quarterback Lamar Jackson's talent, and pairing him with a young, bright offensive mind in Webb would be incredibly exciting.
Webb has played a key role in Bo Nix's development in Denver over the last two years, and though Jackson is basically a finished product as one of the top signal-callers in the sport, hiring Webb as the offensive coordinator could potentially take Jackson's game to another level.
Minter also knows Webb pretty well, as the two have squared off against each other multiple times over the last two years. A duo of Minter and Webb at head coach and offensive coordinator would move the Ravens in a new, modern direction.
