Princess Charlotte celebrates 10th birthday as parents Kate Middleton, Prince William share sweet photo

Her Royal Highness has entered the double digits!

Kate Middleton and Prince William have shared a new photo of their daughter Princess Charlotte to mark her 10th birthday on Friday.

“Happy 10th Birthday Princess Charlotte! ❤️” the Prince and Princess of Wales captioned the image, shared on X and Instagram.

In the snap, Charlotte — who is dressed in a camouflage outfit complete with a backpack — can be seen smiling during a windy hike. The sweet snap was taken by Princess Catherine.

The image was reposted by the royal family’s official X account with the message, “Happy Birthday to Princess Charlotte! 🎂🎉.”

Last year, Middleton snapped an adorable photo of her daughter smiling while posing for a backyard photo.

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born at 8:34 a.m. at the Lindo Wing of London’s St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington in 2015.

In a behind-the-scenes blunder, royal aide Jason Knauf previously revealed he briefly lost the slip of paper detailing the newborn’s gender, birth time, and weight — a key document needed for the official announcement outside the hospital.

Luckily, the mix-up didn’t cause any delays, and Charlotte soon settled into life at the family’s country residence, Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

While not much is known about Charlotte — who is third in line to the throne — her mom once described her as “the one in charge.”

It rang true at late Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in Sept. 2022, when Charlotte was seen reminding Prince George — her older brother — to bow to the coffin.

She also kept her younger brother Prince Louis in check during the Trooping the Colour ceremony in June 2024 by placing her hand over his to calm him down.

Charlotte’s special day comes just over a week after Prince Louis celebrated his 7th birthday.

Prince George will celebrate his 12th birthday on July 22.

George, Charlotte and Louis all attend Lambrook School in Berkshire, England, which sits nearby to their Adelaide Cottage home.

May is also birthday month for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Prince Archie, who turns 6 on May 6.
