Prince St. Pizza is taking a slice out of Brooklyn.
The cult-favorite Manhattan pizza shop, known for its spicy pepperoni squares, is opening a new location across the East River with its first Brooklyn storefront.
The doors at the new location at 271 Smith Street will officially open on Thursday, April 23 at 12 p.m. and will remain open until midnight.
This highly anticipated opening will be Prince St. Pizza’s first new NYC location since its 2012 debut in Nolita.
Prince St. Pizza has previously expanded into other cities in the country with outposts in Los Angeles and Miami.
On the border of Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn locals are sure to be excited about the new addition to the neighborhoods.
“We can’t wait!” one person commented on Instagram. “Hello, Brooklyn.”
“BRO FINALLY,” another exclaimed.
“Smith Street is about to be even more dangerous for my wallet,” someone said.
“Congrats on coming to the best hood ever!!!! You’ll be embraced with open arms,” another wrote.
“Best news all year!” someone else declared.
Excited patrons might want to plan to arrive to the new location early on opening day since the first 25 guests in line will be able to score a $25 credit to use on their order.
To celebrate the big day, Prince St. Pizza is also teaming up with Italian sportswear designer Sergio Tacchini for a launch activation that goes beyond opening day.
The partnership with the label includes custom staff uniforms that feature a Bold “Hot Sauce” colorway. There will also be limited-edition co-branded pizza boxes nationwide with QR codes that link out to exclusive Spring/Summer 2026 fashion content.
Plus, the slice shop is hosting a weeklong opening activation where customers wearing Sergio Tacchini apparel will get a complimentary slice.
