Tottenham Hotspur are keen to strengthen their forward line this summer after enduring one of the worst Premier League campaigns last season in the club's history.
Under the tutelage of Thomas Frank, Spurs have already made some statement signings in Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso, Kota Takai, Luka Vuskovic, and Joao Palhinha on loan.
Despite winning the Europa League, Spurs finished 17th in the Premier League 2024/25 points table only amassing 38 points.
Therefore, Frank is keen to change the narrative and help the club bounce back in the upcoming season whilst also maintaining a decent level in the Champions League.
According to recent reports via GiveMeSport, Spurs are eyeing a move to Manchester City's Savinho, who featured in his maiden Premier League campaign last season.
With club legend Heung-min Son joining Los Angeles FC this summer, Spurs need to replace him with someone who can have an impact in attack and Frank believes that the Brazilian will be a viable option.

However, the overall deal for the Brazilian looks tough as he recently made the switch to City from Girona for £30.8 ($40m) last summer.
Although, Savinho didn't set the Premier League on fire with his goal output, he still showed enough quality to garner a lot of praise from Pep Guardiola.
His performances reportedly caught the eye of the Tottenham hierarchy and hence they are preparing to launch an effort to sign the young winger.
Why are Spurs chasing Manchester City's Savinho?
Savinho, in his maiden season for Manchester City finished with three goals and 11 assists in 48 matches across all competitions.

He started in 21 out of his 28 Premier League appearances last season showing the trust that Guardiola showed in the Brazilian.
Tottenham are interested in him because of his creativity in the final third where he can dribble past multiple defenders or tread a defence splitting pass which makes him a genuine threat for any team.
As per FBref, he averaged 5.15 shot-creating actions, 6.61 progressive carries, 2.69 successful take-ons, 7.57 touches in the attacking penalty area and 12.99 progressive passes received per 90 mins last season.
Savinho is a great ball carrier coupled with his elite dribbling skills make him a proper weapon in attack for City. While his goalscoring hasn't been the best but one expects him to improve given his age.
Guardiola sees the potential in the 21-year-old and therefore lauded him for his performances last season and the Brazilian is viewed as one of the key players of this evolving City roster.
