Chelsea could be on the verge of selling Nicolas Jackson for a huge profit in the ongoing transfer window.
After signing the striker from Villarreal for just £32m ($42m) in 2023, the Blues are now demanding a whopping £80m ($106m) for him.
However, had it not been for a failed medical, another Premier League club could have been the ones demanding massive money for the 24-year-old.
Now, it has been revealed that their owner regrets not signing Jackson when he had the opportunity to.
Meanwhile, Jackson looks almost certain to leave Stamford Bridge during the ongoing window and reportedly prefers a move to another Premier League club.
The player has reportedly turned down a possible move to Italy by rejecting both AC Milan and Napoli.

Bournemouth owner Bill Foley regrets not signing Jackson in 2023

Back in the January 2023 transfer window, Bournemouth were on the verge of landing Jackson, who was still at Villarreal at that time.
A failed medical, however, saw the Cherries pull out of a deal to sign the Senegal international before Chelsea swooped in for him in the summer of that year.
In an interview at the beginning of the 2023/24 Premier League season, Bournemouth owner Bill Foley admitted that his club made a ‘mistake’ by not signing Jackson.
“We tried to get him back this year, we had him last year and I believe we made a mistake,” Foley told TNT Sports. “He didn’t pass his medical but actually he played much sooner than we thought he would.”
Though Jackson reportedly would prefer a move to another Premier League side, there is no chance that the Cherries would be able to add him to their squad now.
