Pregnant Rihanna Makes First Public Appearance Since Baby Bump Debut
Rihanna has her finest couture on the brain.
One day after appearing at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, the “Kiss It Better” singer—who’s currently pregnant with her third baby with A$AP Rocky—stepped out with her boyfriend for a date night in France, and she hasn’t lost her eye for fashion.
For their May 20 outing at Palm Beach, the 37-year-old bared her baby bump in a black Brandon Maxwell dress. And while the top’s cutout design is gorgeous, the gown’s thigh-high slit was the true star of the show. Meanwhile, A$AP (real name Rakim Mayers) matched Rihanna’s sleek look, sporting a dark gray suit and sunglasses.
The duo—also parents to RZA, 3, and Riot Rose, 21 months—were seen holding hands after having dinner, and later posed for a romantic photoshoot under a nearby bridge.
The couple’s matching outfits comes one day after they turned heads at the festival’s premiere of A$AP’s new film, Highest 2 Lowest, on May 19. While the “Peso” rapper, 36, kept it simple yet suave in an oversized black suit, Rihanna shined in a bright blue dress from Alaïa. Similar to her date night look, her custom gown also featured a cut-out around her baby bump.
And when the two aren’t living up to their “Fashion Killa” reputation, they’re gushing over expanding their family. Two days after Rihanna confirmed her third pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala on May 5, A$AP—who served as one of the co-chairs at the event—teased a special detail about their baby’s name during his appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
After host Seth Meyers pointed out their kids’ names start with an “R,” A$AP confirmed that the new baby’s name will follow the tradition.

And while the couple kept details about their baby private, he’s ecstatic to share the news with the world—on their own terms, of course.
“It feels amazing, you know?” he told The Associated Press at the May 5 fashion event. “We were tired of holding that, and it was time to show the people what we was cooking up. I’m glad everybody’s happy for us, because we’re definitely happy.”
