RAW from Boston set the stage for several matches for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames in San Diego, California. John Cena's appearance upended the landscape as he defeated Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship.
With the PLE emanating from Dirty Dom's hometown, he may get his rematch. Nikki Bella's true colors emerged after Stephanie Vaquer vanquished Raquel Rodriguez in her defense of the Women's World title.
Survivor Series: WarGames takes place in under three weeks. Here are predictions for the matches after what transpired on the RAW from Boston.
Secret reason behind John Cena's massive win - Watch Here!
#5. Men's United States title match - Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Tama Tonga
Ilja Dragunov has kept the spirit alive by continuing the Open Challenge series on SmackDown. He's faced Sami Zayn, Nathan Frazer, and Johnny Gargano. Each week, Tama Tonga confronts him backstage.
It feels like Solo Sikoa will be going for major gold, leaving a spot open for someone to go after mid-card gold. The Mad Dragon may defend the title on the SmackDown before Survivor Series, but he could also do so at the show.
Jade Cargill probably won't defend the title yet since her four biggest challengers are either absent (Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton) or busy with WarGames (Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss).
Becky Lynch defends her title on RAW. Unless AJ Lee comes back for a shot at Survivor Series, Dragunov showcasing his title seems likely.
#4. Women's World Championship Match - Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Nikki Bella
Nikki Bella strategically placed herself by the sides of two of the last women to hold the Women's World title. She did so with IYO SKY over the summer and again with Vaquer before she captured the vacant Championship at Wrestlepalooza.
It was all set up for an eventual turn and shot at the belt for her own gain. Bella seemed headed toward a showdown with Liv Morgan before Morgan was injured.
Facing La Primera at WarGames seems like a good pivot for the former Divas Champion to get that featured singles contest. It will also get Vaquer a prime spot on a card full of former Women's Champions in WarGames.
#3. Men's Intercontinental title match - John Cena (c) vs. Rey Mysterio
Before John Cena won the Intercontinental title from Dominik Mysterio, it seemed like Dirty Dom would be facing his father, Rey, in San Diego. Rey congratulated Cena backstage after the victory.
Rey hasn't faced Cena on the Retirement Tour, so doing so at WarGames in San Diego seems like the best opportunity for it. It would go against Cena's claim of doing it for the next generation of performers.
Rey Mysterio is still a legend in San Diego. Dirty Dom can stick his nose into the match if he doesn't get his rematch.
#2. Women's WarGames match
Instead of slowly building each team over the weeks, WWE basically gave away both teams on RAW. The Kabuki Warriors tormented IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley over the last two months.
They did the same recently with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair as they held the WWE Women's Tag Team titles. Asuka and Kairi Sane won the titles on RAW. The champs also mocked Nia Jax one week, so she brought Lash Legend to her side.
With one slot open on both sides, it opens up for some interesting choices. The heel side needs another big name, so Becky Lynch would make sense. Bayley joining the faces would also cause tension.
#1. Men's WarGames Match
In the men's WarGames clash, both sides have only three stars. It's a certainty that Roman Reigns and a fifth star will join CM Punk, Jey Uso, and Cody Rhodes. Reigns will play the "favor" card this year for a shot at either titleholder.
Jimmy Uso makes sense, as does LA Knight. Knight will never join the same side as The Tribal Chief, so it'll be Jimmy. To make things interesting, someone will have to turn heel.
Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul need some reinforcements. With the possibility of having a team of four current or former World Champions, the heels need a monster.
That monster should be Brock Lesnar. Adding Aleister Black to Team Vision would also make sense since he's going after Rhodes and the WWE Championship.
