The writing is on the wall.
For six months, Hough (North Carolina) wide receiver Tyran Evans was committed to the Tennessee Volunteers.
But one week ago - and five days after visiting the Miami Hurricanes - the coveted 6-foot-4, 201-pound pass-catcher re-opened his recruitment.
Last weekend, Evans was back in Miami for a second trip.
Now, he's set to come off the board for a second time - with a planned commitment date for Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET in the Hough High School auditorium.
If that doesn't seem to spell it out...
Prediction: Tyran Evans to Miami Hurricanes
It would be a lie to say Evans' interest in Miami has been a three-week endeavor.
In truth, the highly-productive pass-catcher has been intrigued by the Hurricanes for months and the acceleration of his interest can be traced back to at least his March unofficial visit.
But his June trajectory - a pair of visits to Miami bookending a Tennessee decommitment - makes it seem like a lock that he's joining Mario Cristobal's program.
The recruiting industry agrees, as On3 gives the 'Canes a 97 percent chance of securing Evans' commitment Wednesday.
What would Miami be getting?
As a junior, Evans hauled in 36 receptions for 980 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging a staggering 27.2 yards per catch.
Overall, Miami's 2026 recruiting class is ranked No. 7 nationally and consists of 17 pledges.

But the 'Canes are red-hot, so a climb into the top five suddenly feels inevitable.
