Paul Skenes is now a GQ photo shoot star.
The Pittsburgh Pirates ace and his girlfriend, Livvy Dunne, were featured in the magazine under the title, "Why the algorithm loves Gen Z's 'It Couple' Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes."
Just don't ask Skenes what GQ is.
"I didn't know what GQ was until the offer came," Skenes told reporters on Wednesday.
The big right-hander also expects to hear about the photos in the clubhouse.
"I'm going to get some flack in the locker room, not looking forward to that," Skenes said.

And Skenes gave some additional insight into the positive energy of the opportunity.
“It was fun, it was very fun," Skenes said. "The one day in a million years that it snowed in Baton Rouge, so it kind of worked out perfectly. We got some sweet pictures, but that is not my sphere. We’ll see if I do more of those, but it was a fun day.”
Skenes might be the best pitcher in baseball, and Dunne is the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media while competing as a gymnast at LSU.
There might be a few more photos in their future.
