This is not a drill: Aaron Rodgers is officially in Pittsburgh to sign his Steelers contract, and we have the photos to prove it.
Rodgers finally gave the Steelers his word that he would sign with the team this week, and that is going down on Saturday morning.
Rodgers was spotted arriving at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, as evidenced by photos taken by WTAE photojournalist Sam Hixson.
According to reports, Rodgers is signing a one-year deal with the Steelers, but the financial terms of the contract have not been disclosed. Rodgers had previously revealed he would play for as little as $10 million.
Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Rodgers' deal wouldn't exceed $20 million. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport added that the expectation is Rodgers' contract will be around a base of $10 million with incentives.

— Ashley Liotus (@AshleyLiotus) June 7, 2025The Rodgers signing was mostly lauded by experts, but there is no question that his coming to Pittsburgh isn't overwhelmingly being accepted by Steelers fans.
In fact, one Steelers fan went as far as to burn a Minkah Fitzpatrick jersey to show that he's done with the franchise because of the signing of the future Hall of Fame quarterback.
Does the Rodgers signing guarantee that the Steelers will make the playoffs and finally get over the hump with a postseason win?
Certainly not, but he was the best chance the Steelers had among their available options this offseason.
As controversial as the signing is, Rodgers will silence his detractors real quick if he can prove to be an upgrade over Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.
Looking ahead, we can't say for sure when Rodgers will first address the media, but we can take an educated guess that it won't happen later than the start of mandatory minicamp, which begins on June 10.
