[Photo] Swerve Strickland shows off new tattoo amid extended AEW absence

Swerve Strickland has been absent from AEW TV for a while now. Amid his absence, he has shown off his new tattoo.

Swerve Strickland has established himself as one of the top stars in AEW as soon as he arrived in the company. The last year and a half has been absolutely brutal for Swerve. He was involved in a long and tiring feud with Hangman Page, which lasted several months. Following this, he went on to win the AEW World Title. After losing the title, he was involved in a feud with Death Riders. At Forbidden Door 2025, he lost to Kazuchika Okada. Following the match, Wardlow made his return and brutally assaulted Swerve. The Realest One has not been seen on TV since the attack. It was reported that the former World Champion was taking time off TV to deal with a torn meniscus.

Amid his absence, the AEW star took to social media to share an image of a new back tattoo he got. He captioned the post as follows:

Swerve Strickland reacted to a major revelation by Brody King

Darby Allin, Bandido, and Brody King have known each other for a few years now. Sometimes, they travel together when moving from one city to another. Something hilarious happened during one of their car rides. During an appearance on Close Up with Renee Paquette, Brody King recalled being stuck in traffic during a car ride with Bandido and Darby Allin. He said that he needed to tinkle, so he peed in a bottle, which he showed to Bandido and Darby. To their shock, he took a lit sip of his own pee.

Swerve Strickland reacted to this comment by Brody King on social media, stating that he was also present for this incident.

"I think i was there for this @Brodyxking 🤔🤢" Swerve wrote.

It remains to be seen when Swerve will recover from his injury and return to the ring.
