Phillies' Kyle Schwarber sets an all-time Philadelphia franchise record

1 hour ago 3

Kyle Schwarber did it again.

Of course he did.

The Philadelphia Phillies played baseball against the New York Mets on Sunday.

The opponent didn't really matter.

Just the fact that Schwarber was in the batter's box.

Because lately, and really for his entire Phillies career, that means Schwarber is liable to hit a home run.

Yep, he hit another homer on Sunday.

It's his 30th of the season, the first player in MLB this season to reach 30 homers.

He's also reached 30 home runs in 84 games, which is the fastest any player has ever done that in Phillies franchise history, according to MLB Network's Sarah Langs.

As usual, Schwarber didn't get cheated on this swing, either:

Schwarber's prolific time with the Phillies sometimes feels like it's been overshadowed by the likes of Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani or even Cal Raleigh last season.

This time around, Schwarber has everyone's attention.

And because it's what he does, he keeps hitting home runs.
